But using the Selection Methods you can expect around a 70% Strike Rate overall.

This is the second biggest betting pools, next to Match Odds.

Another advantage of OU betting is that you will find Betfair prices are often well over 1.50, and even 2.0 - somewhat better than the place prices of horses rated at evens for the win.

Although called Under Over, it also dabbles into the Correct Score Market with an uncanny accuracy.

1. Two OU Selectors. This is the selection part of the suite.

This is the work horse of the software suite, where the selected matches are input and calculated. From here the selections are staked accordly in the staking software.

2. OU TDR Bets. (Target, Delta, Recovery staking)

In this staking software, we look at the very best 1,2 or 3 bets and they are staked in a series with options to equalise all bets.

3. OU Correct Score Staking Software.

This software dutch bets the most likely 5 scores (only used on Under 2.5 favoured matches)

The selections are on a recovery staking, with a profit delta option. Correct scores are used.

4. Multi Bets Staking Software

This is where the strong selections are used in doubles and trebles. These are found in the consensus on Software 1.

Like all the staking softwares you can run 20 separate plans to cater for different leagues.

THE FIRST WEEK’S LIVE BETTING

Yes, very good profit results.

Subsequent betting resulted in some weeks being as good, some slightly better, and -- as you would expect -- some slightly worse.
But overall it evens out. You can confidently expect around 70% strike rate of winning predictions overall.

Initial settings were a default Target of a very conservative 0.75 and Delta 0.1.

However, it soon became apparent that upping the Target to 1 unit would not cause undue stress. And leaving Delta on 0.1 was sufficient for each match to ‘pay its way,’ so to speak.

Selections were based on the default Last 4 method only. Why? Because at that point the Consensus method was still on the drawing board! (But it’s fully developed now and working well.)

So first week’s bets were based on TDR and Correct Score Dutch book tools only.

Look carefully at the results and you’ll see both betting methods worked extremely well during that week. And they continue to do so for us.
As we note in the User Guide, we only bet the Correct Score if the O/U prediction in UNDER. Why?

Simply because there are only 6 possible scores. We don’t bother with the score 0-2 as third-party statistics clearly show the strike rate is only about 4%.

So the remaining 5 work well in the Correct Score Dutch book tool as they generally offer good odds. That helps dampens down outlays.
